Chinmaya Mission  Chinmaya Balavihar Youth Summer Projects team, at Chinmaya Vrindavan under the guidance of our committed adult volunteers, recently orchestrated a tremendously successful blood drive.  This event garnered an impressive response, with a total of 49 pre-registered participants and an additional 19 individuals who walked in to contribute.  The culmination of this effort resulted in a remarkable 43 blood donations, underlining the profound impact that teamwork and community spirit can have in addressing critical needs.  It's heartening to witness the dedication and enthusiasm of our youth, as well as the invaluable support of our mentors.  This accomplishment not only serves as a testament to our collective commitment to philanthropy but also underscores the potential for future endeavors to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need. ============================================================= 1.#Opinion : Tuesday, 26  Sep 20...

This festival is observed twice a year, once in the month of Chaitra and then in Aswayuja. It lasts for nine days in honour of the nine manifestations of Durga. During Navaratri (the word literally means “nine nights”) devotees of Durga observe a fast. Brahmins are fed and prayers are offered for the protection of health and property. The beginning of summer and the beginning of winter are two very important junctions of climatic and solar influence.
